STEP 1: PREPARE THE SURFACE
-
Ensure the wall is smooth, clean, and dry. Remove dust, dirt, and any grease.
-
Patch holes or cracks and allow the surface to dry completely.
-
Avoid applying wallpaper on textured walls, as it may not adhere properly.
- We recommend testing a small, inconspicuous area before applying the wallpaper to the entire surface.
- Please note, any mold or mildew on a wall may be an indication of a moisture problem. The mold itself must be removed from the wall and any sources of moisture accumulation must be corrected before proceeding with the installation.
STEP 2: MEASURE AND CUT
-
Measure the height and width of your wall.
-
Mark a straight vertical guideline using a level and pencil to ensure the first panel is aligned properly.
STEP 3: APPLY THE FIRST PANEL
-
Peel off a small section of the backing at the top.
- Recommended to do the easiest section of the wall first.
-
Align the wallpaper with the guideline and press the exposed adhesive section onto the wall.
-
Gradually peel off more backing while smoothing the wallpaper down with a squeegee or smoother.
- This peel & stick is re-positionable! If you need to readjust the placement, simply peel it off the wall and reapply.
STEP 4: APPLY ADDITIONAL PANELS
-
Align the next panel with the edge of the first, ensuring pattern alignment if applicable.
-
Overlap edges where needed - all wallpaper is printed with a 1 inch overlap to allow for easy installation.
-
Continue peeling and smoothing each panel until fully adhered.
STEP 5: TRIM EXCESS WALLPAPER
-
Use a sharp utility knife or scissors to trim excess wallpaper at the ceiling and baseboard. HIGHLY recommend a SHARP blade for each cut.
-
Smooth down edges to ensure a secure hold.
STEP 6: FINISHING TOUCHES
-
Check for air bubbles and gently press them out with a squeegee or smoother.
-
If repositioning is needed, carefully peel back and adjust.
-
Allow wallpaper to settle for a few hours before moving furniture back.
REMOVAL TIPS !!!
- To remove this product from the wall, pull one of the top corners from the wall and draw the material down against itself on a 180° angle with at a slow and consistent speed until the panel is completely removed. Proper prior surface preparation should ensure complete removability without any damage to the wall surface.
-
If adhesive residue remains, wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap.
